Access treasure chest:
1 April – 31 October: Monday – Friday 9:00 – 17:30, Saturday – Sunday 9:30 – 14:30.
1 November – 31 March: Monday 13:00 – 17:00, Tuesday – Friday 9:00 – 12:30 and 13:00 – 17:00, Saturday – Sunday not accessible.
Holidays: Good Friday / Easter Monday / Ascension Day / Whitmonday / 1 August: 9:30 – 14:30
Not accessible: Fasting Monday / 25 and 26 December / 1 and 2 January.
If the treasure chest is not accessible at the House of Tourism, the small gift can also be picked up from the treasure chest at the Hotel La Couronne: Monday – Friday 7:00 – 22:00, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 – 16:30. Not accessible from 15 December to 15 January. No responsibility is taken for the correctness of this information. If the treasure chest is not accessible, the gift will be sent to you. Embark on a discovery tour through Morges, the charming town on the shores of Lake Geneva. The trail takes you through the peaceful Parc de l’Indépendance, where the colourful Tulip Festival takes place every year, and into the picturesque old town with its historic inns such as the Pinte and beautifully decorated signs. At the Town Hall, you’ll learn that Audrey Hepburn once got married here, before exploring the lively Quartier des Halles. Along the way, you’ll also discover who Dr. Yersin was – an important historical figure linked to Morges. The route then leads you to the Temple de Morges and along the lakeside promenade to the harbour, where a stunning view of the lake and the Alps awaits.
This varied route combines history, riddle-solving fun and local discoveries in an entertaining way, letting you experience Morges from its most beautiful side.
